Week 1: Introduction to Business Fundamentals
In our first week, we will introduce you to the fundamentals of business. From your vision story and marketing to operations and finances, we will discuss what you need to know to successfully go from employed clinician to business owner.
Week 2: Introduction to Practice Ownership
Owning a medical practice is different from other business ventures. This week we will discuss regulatory requirements, compliance, and SOP's. From CLIA to OSHA, we've got you.
Week 3: Insurance-Based Model of Care
In the third week, we will discuss the direct primary care and cash-based models. We’ll help you understand what the definitions of the models are, outline Medicare Opt-out and cash-based options, discuss GPO/Lab creation, and help you understand the potential start-up costs.
Week 4: Direct Primary Care and Concierge Models
We will explore the similarities and differences between the DPC and Concierge models. We will discuss setting your prices, determining if you want to be fully cash based or a hybrid, CMS and Medicare regulations, and start up costs.
Week 5: Telemedicine and Other Models
In the fifth week, we will discuss practicing with remote option, the changing landscape of coverage, compare insurance vs. cash, and help you understand licensure and privileges and franchise opportunities.
Week 6: Lifestyle Design
In the final week, we will tie it all together! We will discuss future coaching options, our affiliates and have a Q&A session to ensure you feel confident to move forward!
